A few weeks ago I was back to Ballybeg House in Wicklow, one of my favourite venues. I was there to shoot the rustic winter wedding of Cassie and Mark. When I reflect on these images now I feel like there’s quite a homely, warm feel. The venue in wintertime lends itself to such an atmosphere. Have a look at the images here of the candlelit tables at dinner, and the natural decor. This was all in keeping with the aesthetic of the bridal party; the bridesmaids wearing the most gorgeous shade of deep green for winter, and Cassie’s magnificent bouquet.
Cassie and Mark were a fun relaxed couple. They enjoyed a wander around the woodland grounds whilst I snapped the photos I wanted to grab of just the two of them. They were as cool as cucumbers during the family and bridal party photos which we took out in the avenue. They treated their guests to some sparklers that evening, which always helps to create a celebratory vibe and I hope you can get a sense of that here in their images.
I love kids at weddings- I know they say never work with kids or animals but I love both, so as you browse through these images keep your eyes peeled for some VERY cute kid pics! Smiling faces, short legs racing up the aisle, cute party dresses, what’s there not to like?
I was thrilled to hear that Confetti.ie wanted to feature these images of Cassie and Mark’s rustic winter wedding in their online wedding magazine. That’s due to be appearing soon so keep an eye out for more details there about these guy’s fab day.
