Meadhbh and Andy were married in Clonabreany House in September 2018. I’ve shot weddings in Clonabreany House many times, and always enjoy its timeless beauty. On this occasion however, I had even more reason that usual to look forward to the big day. Andy is a cousin of mine, based in Liverpool with the rest of his family. So I was delighted they chose me to shoot their wedding, particularly as it turned into a family reunion of sorts with many members of my family amongst the invited guests.
Despite it being the first day of September, the weather that day was sunny and warm, giving us great opportunities to get outside in the lovely grounds of Clonabreany House for some family photos. I loved the pale pink theme the couple had subtly worked through the whole day. As you can see from the photos, the bridesmaids wore mismatched gowns in various shades of pink, whilst the reception had been strewn with pale pink paper lanterns. The bride was beautifully unique with a vintage style headpiece, bold red lips and cascading flower bouquet. The overall effect of Meadhbh and Andy’s efforts was chic and ethereal, and I was delighted to play a part in this special day.
