"We loved having Keith for our wedding. An easy-going wedding is hard to achieve but Keith was right on-board with infinite patience for our chaos and mischief. We knew exactly what his plan was for the day and the photos were fantastic, with so many pictures of genuine laughter and fun"

FAQS

• Do you have experience with camera -shy couples?

Absolutely, this is a common experience amongst wedding couples. I know exactly how it feels to be camera-shy myself, so my aim is always to take natural photos that don't feel forced. I prefer not to take staged photos that will make you feel awkward. Your photos will be natural & relaxed with little formality to add to existing nerves.

• We don’t want to spend hours taking photos, how long do the 'couple' photos take?

I agree 100%. My aim is to be finished these photos in 35 mins maximum. That allows you both to get back to your guests and enjoy your day, whilst allowing me to return to documenting your day in a candid, natural style.

• Do you take family photos on the day?

Of course. Weddings are one of those lovely but rare occasions when all the people in your life are together so you should use the opportunity to get some great family photos. They can easily take more time then you might expect though, so I always concentrate on working to keep this part of the day brief and relaxed (no Royal Family-type family photos!). This means you can spend lots of time with your family and friends. I recommend no more than 10 set ups for 'family' photos, which will take about 20 minutes. I will of course be there in the background for the rest of the day, photographing all your favourite people.

• Do you edit your photos?

Absolutely, editing is an essential part of any photographer's job. However, I don’t ‘over process’ my images. Trends come & go, but I want your photos to be as fresh 20 years from now, as they are today. I aim to produce classic images. I also think it is vital that couples don't have to wait months and months for their photos to be edited. I work hard to ensure that your photos are returned to you within a reasonable timeframe.

• Do you have any online reviews that I can read?

Yes. Reading reviews are a great way for you to research all your vendors, not just photographers. Previous client testimonials provide peace of mind for you that others have made use of my services and are pleased with the final result. Remember that choosing a wedding photographer should be based on their entire offering to the clients from start to finish, rather than just the images they provide. My own client testimonials show that from start to finish, I provide a relaxed, friendly, professional and efficient service.

• What type of cameras / backup equipment do you use?

Be assured that I have invested heavily in the latest technology to ensure you receive quality images and a professional service. I use Canon digital cameras and Sigma lenses, and ensure that backup equipment is always with me on your special day. I also have backup cameras on site, always just a few feet away from where I’m shooting.

• Do you only photograph weddings?

No! I also take landscape and wildlife photos in my spare time. You can view these on the Landscapes page of my website. Additionally, I have a selection of my wildlife and landscape images available for online purchase. These images can be provided to you framed or unframed, and in a variety of sizes depending on your own preference. They make great gifts for family and friends. If you spot any images on my Landscapes page you would like to purchase that aren’t available through my online shop, just contact me. I’d be happy to arrange this for you.

I also work on a variety of photography projects. My previous commissions have included photographing the Houses of the Oireachtas, the Royal College of Physicians and the presidential residence, Arás an Uachtaráin. If you would like to discuss my photographing other events, feel free to drop me an email.

• Do you have arrangements in place to deal with extreme sickness or other exceptional circumstances in which you are unable to photograph our day?

Firstly, let me reassure you that I am rarely ill, not accident prone, and committed to all of my clients at all times! Nonetheless, this commitment has prompted me to establish an agreement with some other photographers that I respect and admire. In the event of any exceptional circumstances, your day will proceed as normal using one of these photographers in my place. Such reciprocal arrangements provide peace of mind for our clients, but have so far never been needed.

• How long will it take for our photos to be delivered?

I try not to leave couples waiting too long. To see your photos relatively soon after your wedding day is important, so I usually deliver them within 3-4 weeks.

• What packages & prices do you have available?

I have a range of packages to suit every budget. Get in touch with me & I'll send you a full brochure covering all the details.
