AUTHENTIC, RELAXED, & FUN
My love of documentary & landscape photography heavily influences my approach to shooting weddings. I prefer a relaxed photojournalism style that documents your day in a genuine, authentic way. I try not to direct as much as I can (with the exception of the ‘family’ photos when a little direction is inevitable). Mostly, I like to be as unobtrusive as possible for the majority of your day. My aim is to take beautifully natural images by documenting your day without the need for cheesy or clichéd poses.
Importantly, I don’t ‘over process’ my images. Trends come & go, but I want your photos to be as fresh 20 years from now, as they are today. That means no Instagram-style filters and instead, classic images that will stand the test of time.
INFORMAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Nobody wants to spend all day having their photo taken, so my aim is to be finished your ‘couple’ photos in 35 mins maximum. That allows you both to get back to your guests and the party, and allows me to get back to documenting the day in a candid, natural style.
